Madeline Language Services
A translation service should not be hard to talk to in either of the languages it works in.

Overview
Madeline Language Services provides translation and language support. The website presents the services clearly to speakers of both working languages and makes the first enquiry as low-effort as possible.
The challenge
Bilingual sites often bolt a second language onto a layout designed for the first, which leaves one audience with awkward line breaks, mistranslated navigation or a second-class experience.
The approach
Both languages were treated as first-class from the start. Layouts were built to tolerate the length differences between them, and the navigation and enquiry flow were written natively in each rather than translated mechanically.
The solution
A bilingual service website with a consistent structure in both languages, clearly described services and a short, unintimidating enquiry route.
